Projects from the Kearny Club and for the upcoming Hayden Club Meeting

The following projects were done at the Kearny Club meeting that Pat Hughes hostessed during the month of January.

We used the Happy Heart Set and made this card on a Pumpkin Pie base, and Tempting Teal, and Rose Red accents. Also DSP from the Bali Breeze set.

Then we used the same stamp set to make this candy holder. I used Kraft cardstock with the Pretty in Pink accent. On both projects we used the Stampin' Write Markers to color in the images.

This is the candy holder open. I used the small trident pack of gum but you can use small hershey or other chocolate candy.

It seems like there is a baby epidemic going on.

Actually, one of my members Leslie, from my Kearny club just had twins. They are grandbabies of Vickie and niece and nephew of Tiffany, of which are also both of my Kearny club. Also Vickie's daughter, Crystal, is also expecting. CONGRATULATIONS!!

I will also be a grandma sometime at the beginning of July. My daughter, Britney, is expecting a baby. We still don't if she is having a boy or girl yet.

Anyways, we made this gift card holder, which was geared for maybe a baby shower or gift. This card used the Nursery Necessities on a Certainly Celery base, Barely Banana and Bashful Blue accents. The star is stamped with the Craft Barely Banana Stamp Pad and then embossed with clear embossing powder.

All stamp sets and supplies used for these projects are from Stampin' Up!

Sharing Homemade Christmas Cards

Just wanted to share with everyone the 'homemade" Christmas cards that I received this year! I just love getting cards that were made by someone. Everyone did a wonderful job!! I can't wait until next year!!

This card came from Rebecca Mathews of Globe, Arizona.

The snowflake card on bashful blue and chocolate chip brown came from Angie Ruiz.

This is a matchbook style card from Cassandra Joos.

Helen Gee sent me this Christmas House Mouse card.

Silver and Blue is Gloria Ruiz'a favorite Christmas colors.

This computer generated card was made by Anna Campos.

This is the card I sent out this Christmas with a little help from Andrea Walford.

The Weekend is Almost Over!

It is already Sunday night and that means it is back to work tomorrow. I did do a little stampin and craftin this weekend. I made a surprise box or an explosion photo box. I used the Dashing DSP from Stampin' Up. Unfortunately, it is retired. I will try to include a picture. I have done some other cards since I have started but have not posted to this blog.

Had a great time with the ladies in Kearny last weekend! I would like to thank Rebecca, Vicki, Tiffany, and Dale Ann for attending. And Pat for being the hostess for our club this month. We made a baby gift card holder with the new Nursery Necessities. We also used the Happy Heart Day set to make a valentine card and a candy or gum holder. I don't have a picture to post yet but you can see Rebecca's verison of this holder on her blogsite.

We have a brand new Stampin' Up! catalog that came out on the 2nd of January! It is a gorgeous catalog! I just love the colors! Has so many things that I want!! Take a look at my website for the online catalog at www.candyh.stampinup.net.

I am trying to put some projects together for some classes that I would like to hold. If you are interested please let me know. I would like to do some mini scrapbook albums, stamp-a-stack and maybe some movement cards. I have so many ideas, just so little time!!

I guess that is it for now. I am going to take some pics of some of things that I have done so far so that I can post them here on this blog and on my Stampin' Up! website.
