The Hayden Stamping Club - June 2008

Gloria was the hostess for our last meeting of this Stampin' Up! catalog year in June. Gloria made some great food and snacks for us. Thanks!

Cassie, Gloria and my mom were able to show up. April decided to spend some time with her man before her trip with her daughter, Rachel, to Las Vegas to see Elton John in concert. This was Rachel's graduation present from her mom!! We also missed Gerri and Angie!
This time around I used one set, which was a sneak peek of a new set that will be in the new catalog coming out on August 11th! I am so excited!! Being a demo, I was able to do some pre-orders of some other stuff that will be new to the catalog. Gotta get playing!! I am also part of another swap, just not so massive this time around. 14 cards in total to make. I think I can handle that!!

On to the cards that we made, we used the stamp set, Fresh Cut, which was only available until the end of June.

Here they are....

Has it really been that long!!!!

Wow!! March 26th! I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted to my blog!

Quite a few things have happened since I have been on...My daughter had her baby shower. It turned out great! She received wonderful gifts from my friends and hers.

I am thankful for my friends! Helen Gee and her daughter, Jordan, were a great help getting things set up and cleaning up. Gloria Ruiz was also a great help getting things ready and helping me in the kitchen.

That was April, then my daughter Britney graduated from high school!! Go Lobos! Class of 2008! Has it really been 25 years since I graduated from Hayden High School!!

We took a trip to San Diego, my husband and the two boys, just for a few days. We enjoyed the days that we were there and I already wanting to go back. I just love La Jolla!!

We drove a 2009 convertible Mustang while we were in San Diego!! It only had 9 miles on it when we got it!! I love that new car smell!! :-) San Diego has the perfect weather for a convertible unlike Arizona!! But I still got sunburned.

Then on June 24th, Julian Ysmael was born, our first grandbaby!! I got to be there when he was born!! He was 7lbs 11 ozs and 21 3/4 inches long. He is doing great! And he is such a good baby!! She got lucky with this one. Britney was definitely nothing like him when she was a newborn.

Here he is....

Me and Julian and his chubby cheeks!! I think we are all caught up now with all the happenings since my last posting....My next posting will be the cards we did with the Hayden Stamping Club at the end of June, when Gloria Ruiz was the hostess!!
